Helping you know and love yourself even through big changes.

As a college student, you are highly driven and destined for great things even as you deal with the little monsters of self-doubt, questions about the future and about who you’re becoming, and internal demands to “Stay productive!!” that sneak into your head when you finally get a second to rest. You’re trying to get the most out of college that you can, but do these really feel like “the best years of your life”, like people always say? Together, let’s figure out what we can change so you can live better.

Therapy with me looks like first getting to know how any symptoms of depression, anxiety, or interpersonal distress are showing up in your life as a whole and how they’re showing up recently, especially since these recent changes could be what inspired you to look in therapy. We work on identifying specific coping strategies that link directly to your symptoms, so you don’t feel like you’re getting generic advice or suggestions that haven’t worked in the past. We’ll also look at the messages you’ve received about focus, motivation, laziness, “good” and “bad” emotions, and your relationship with yourself and others. My goal in therapy is to set you up with resources, new ways of thinking, and strengthened skills so that you’re able to handle daily stressors alongside big life changes confidently. I specialize in helping young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I always aim to provide LGBTQIA+ affirmative care within a sex-positive, anti-racist, fat liberation model.
