It’s time to start enjoying college.

Learn about our online therapy services for college students

You’re tired of worrying about everything - your classes, your relationships, your future.  Sometimes things just feel like too much to handle on your own.

That’s where we come in. We support undergraduate and graduate students who are feeling overwhelmed and want to make the most of their college experience. Our priority is to listen and provide a safe, reliable space for open conversations, self-discovery, and skill-building. Our clients leave our sessions feeling accomplished and empowered, both in their personal lives and within the therapy process, because they’ve found a therapist who truly understands them, helps them improve their well-being, and offers ongoing support.

Your confidant, advocate, teacher, and cheerleader, all rolled into one.

Our psychologists have worked in college counseling centers and are very familiar with the types of challenges faced by undergrad and grad students, as well as the academic system.  We’ve learned how to effectively help students, including those transitioning into school, approaching graduation, and everything in between.  In addition to our professional experience, we also have personal experience.  We’ve been there - the late night study sessions, the never-ending to do list, the uncertainty of things.  And you know what?  It was worth it, and we’re confident that we can help you feel the same way.

The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.
— Carl Rogers

Have you had difficulty finding and keeping a therapist you trust?  Many of the mental health options for college students are constrained by session limits, inadequate campus resources, and lack of continuity.  This leads to feeling unsupported and lost in the shuffle.  We won’t let you become lost!  We know that your circumstances are unique as a college student, so we work with you on your goals, keeping in mind your academic demands and accommodating your changing schedule and location to give you consistent therapy with real progress.

Methods and modalities

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. It operates on the premise that our thoughts influence our feelings and behaviors, and by altering these thoughts, we can improve our emotional well-being and change problematic behaviors.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is used to enhance self-awareness and improve emotional regulation by observing experiences without becoming overwhelmed or reacting automatically. This practice can help reduce stress, increase focus, and improve overall well-being. We incorporate mindfulness through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy focuses on exploring and addressing fundamental aspects of being human, such as uncertainty, loneliness, and loss. It emphasizes the individual's experience of their own existence and the search for purpose. It aims to help clients face these existential concerns and find personal meaning and direction, leading to a more authentic and fulfilling life.

You don’t have to get through the semester alone. We’re here to help.
